Perhaps the most well-known titles we have worked on for Bonnier Books UK are those by Wilbur Smith, including the June ‘Book of the Month’: the Jack Courtney Adventures Series. Co-authored by Chris Wakeling, the trilogy consists of three, must-read page-turners: Cloudburst (2020), Thunderbolt (2021) and Shockwave (2022). The environmental concerns central to each story are explored through relatable characters and plenty of action, involving bandits, poachers, pirates and ransom demands.

Wilbur Smith sadly passed away in late 2021. By the time of his death he had published 49 books, including Those in Peril, River God, Warlock, The Seventh Scroll, and The Sunbird. His stories have been translated into twenty-six languages and have sold over 140 million copies.
